Rest In Peace Etta James!

Legendary soul singer Etta James, born Jamesetta Hawkins, has died after a 2 year battle with chronic leukemia. The singer who was famous for chart topping songs such as “At Last” and ‘Something’s got a hold on me’ was rushed to hospital last month where she was placed on a breathing machine after having trouble breathing. It was during this time that her live-in doctor announced that Etta was terminally Ill and for her fans to pray that she would get well soon.

Things seem to be looking up when she was discharged from the hospital earlier this month and was said to be resting at her home in in Riverside, California. However sadly she passed away yesterday at the same hospital she had been released from just two weeks ago.

Etta James leaves behind two sons and her husband.

Chris Brown Get's Pic of Girlfriend Tattooed on His Arm?

Singer Chris Brown has been spending a lot of time with new girlfriend Karrueche Tran and perhaps to show just how much he loves her he has gone and tattooed her on his arm. The tattoo is located on Breezy's arm and is picture of Karrueche's face covered with paint and wet hair, apparently from a photo she recently took.
Hey it could be his love for her or just his love of art, either way it's a bold statement!

Actress Paula Patton & Singer Husband Robin Thicke Owes The IRS Some Major Money!

According to the Detroit News (who has become infamous for outing folks and their tax issues), the IRS filed a $492,583 tax lien against Paula Patton and Robin Thicke on Dec. 28 with the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds.

The address on file is a P.O. Box, but the Hollywood couple does have a sizable home in Santa Monica.

Paula also cashed in on her recent box office hits Jumping The Broom and Precious. While Robin just released his fifth studio album, Love After War, last month.

And it doesn't appear that they deliberately avoided paying the taxes. Their rep said this weekend:

“They were just made aware of the issue and it is being taken care of immediately."

NOT SO SHOCKING: Robert Kardashian's Wife Claims Khloe is NOT a Kardashian!

Robert Kardashian's ex-wife and widow have come forward in a Star magazine exclusive in which she claim that the late Kardashian expressed his doubts about the paternity of his 3rd child Khloe Kardashian.

"Khloe is not his kid -- he told me that after we got married," Jan Ashley, 63, the woman who married Robert after Kris Jenner, revealed to Star.

"He just kind of looked at me and said [it] like it was a matter of fact. He said, 'Well, you know that Khloe's not really a Kardashian, don't you?' And I said…'OK,' and that was it."

Ellen Kardashian, 63, married Robert in 2003 just two months before his death, after dating for nearly six years -- and she has also come forward after eight years of silence to "tell the truth" about the Kardashian family.

"Khloe brought it up all the time," Ellen told Star. "She looked nothing like the rest. She was tall, had a different shape, light hair, curly hair. Didn't look anything like the other three children."

And while Kris recently admitted in her new book that she cheated on Robert during their marriage, both Jan and Ellen said they've always known she cheated, and so did Robert.

"Robert did question the fact that Khloe was his," Ellen said. "Any normal man would if they knew their wife had cheated on him."

Since Robert's death in 2003, Ellen fell on hard financial times -- filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2010 and last October the home that she and Robert shared in Indian Wells, Calif. was sold after going into foreclosure.

But in a final bombshell, Ellen claims Robert told her that he and Kris weren't even sleeping together at the time Khloe was conceived.

"[But] he never would have considered a DNA test," Ellen concluded. "He loved her very much."

Jim Jones & Chrissy Talks Their Engagement, A Wedding Date, & Juelz Santana!

Jim Jones didn't get down on bended knee but he did finally pop the question to his longtime girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin and put a ring on it. Now, we're all asking the million dollar question: “When is the wedding date?” Hot 97′s Angie Martinez got the inside scoop on the Love & Hip Hop couple’s upcoming nuptials and how the show has affected their lives. Check out an excerpt below:

Have you set a date for the wedding?
Chrissy: Not yet.

Jimmy, the streets are watching. You can’t propose then do one of those 4-year engagements.
Jimmy: Oh, man…is this what we’re gonna go through? We’re going to figure it out. Let’s do one thing at a time.

Have you started planning the wedding yet?
Chrissy: Absolutely not; this is still just settling in…the whole engagement thing.

Chrissy you seem like you’re kind of nervous
Chrissy: Yeah, I am. I’m scared of the wedding. A lot of planning and a lot of stuff I have to get together.

Are you going to have a big wedding?
Jimmy: I’m old school; we got to go to my grandmother church and do it there then after that we can get crazy.
Chrissy: Me, I could’ve done a destination wedding. A few family members and a few friends.
Jimmy: My grandmother wouldn’t have allowed that.

Is this wedding going to be on television?
Chrissy: I hadn’t planned for it but let’s see.
Jimmy: Hey, if VH1 or somebody listening….

How do you not allow the craziest of show to get in the way of your real life?
Jimmy: It does get into real life; that’s the hardest thing to deal with on the show. Sometimes it spills over and it’s not an easy thing but above all we’re brothers [reference to Julez Santana].

Are you helping or making it worst?
Chrissy: I’ve been helping but at first it was kind of ugly. It’s much better now. I’m glad Julez isn’t angry with me.

Was Juelz Santana mad at you?
Chrissy: I don’t know, he didn’t say he was. He had to feel a way about something.

VH1's "Love & Hip Hop" Yandy Smith Talks Jim Jones, Chrissy, & Having A Boo!

To most Yandy Smith has to be the messiest chick on season two of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop". She claims to be the peace maker wanting to bring everyone together she so far when she is around there is always a fight, tears, or shouting!  Making her the ‘Don King’ of the show. But are we wrong?

The folks over at NecoleBitchie chatted with Yandy by phone and got to the bottom of some of her reputation as an instigator, how she really feels about her cast mates and if her boyfriend really beat up Jim Jones.

Here's what she had to say:

Yandy, you came out the Violator Management camp. Exactly how long have you been in the industry?
I got an internship with Violator in 2004, right out of college at Howard. Then I turned that into a position there.

When and where did you meet Jim Jones?
I met Jim in 2005 on a private jet chartered by Russell Simmons. They were flying us to Detroit for the Hip Hop summit to register young voters and Jim and I sat next to one another. He kept telling me that he managed this group The Diplomats and I told him to hit me up if he needed any help. He started calling me every day and eventually I was like ‘You’re going to have to pay me for this.” So I became his official manager and left Violator in 2005.

On the show you’re definitely portrayed as a woman about her business. Were you always that way? Or was there a situation that brought that out of you?
You know what, when I went to Howard, I got a scholarship the first two years. But my mother made me pay for the last two years. So that really taught me to be about my business. Yeah, being social was great and I did that too but I definitely learned quickly that I had to handle mine. And when school was over, I brought that same mindset to Violator Management. I knew I had to hurry up and find a job so I could pay back my student loans. So I came in on my business.

How do you determine whom you take on as a client?
You know what, management is a life thing. It’s not a 9-5 thing. I’ve had Missy, Busta, whomever calling me in the middle of the night and you have to be there to be on your job. So when I look at a potential client I look for two things. First, they have to have something and it’s not always just talent. You might not think Jim is the best rapper but he’s got this hustler’s spirit that makes you want to work with him. So it’s not always about the most talented because (and this is second), I have to believe in you. If you’ve got this hustler’s drive where you’re constantly looking for a way to make money, that’s something I can believe in and if I believe in you, I’ll go hard for you.

So on the show you made the statement that at the end of the day, for you it’s about making money…
See that was only part of the statement. What they didn’t show you was that I also said how much I love Jim. See a lot of that is changed in editing or manipulated by producers.

Let’s talk about that. Are you happy with the way you’ve been represented?
(Groans) See, here’s the thing: most people don’t realize how this really works. If the producers contact me and say there’s a woman named Erica Mena interested in meeting with me about management, I don’t know what an Erica Mena is. But I took the meeting and all the sudden its made to look like I’m starting something. Or if Emily invites me along with the rest of the girls to her party, I don’t know what type of party it is until I get there. And really I didn’t come with Kimbella. The camera just shows us walking up to the house together, so now it looks like I’ve brought Kimbella and I didn’t.
